All Stars

Maegan played in the All Star tournament this past weekend. They won one and lost two. She had a really good outing, pitched good for her first pressured outing. She struck out several, walked several and had players put the ball into play. She even bunted one time to move the runners around AND SHE WAS SAFE at first....yes, I am one proud mama! Backyard Friends

As we were eating lunch about a week ago, Stephen says "hey, ya'll look"----a little young buck comes stolling across the yard...eating crab apples out of the tree. Then later that afternoon, I am weeding our shrubs in the front yard and I see a turtle trying to get in the water thing from our hose holder...too sweet!!!! Hope you enjoy the pics!

Softball Camp

This has been a busy week. Maegan has been attending softball/baseball camp put on by Faulkner University out of Montgomery. The camp was Monday thru Thursday from 9-12, then we were off to church to help decorate for VBS, then to Softball practice for Maegan. Here are some pics from the camp. She really had a great time!

FINALLY GRADUATED!!!

Well, last Friday night, I finally joined the education forces as I received my Master's degree from Troy University! It was a nice ceremony and did not last too long. I just have to say thanks to all of my family and friends who have supported me through this journey--I would have never made it through without all of them. Now all I have to do is find a job. This task may be much harder than going to school all fo these years!!!! Hope you enjoy the pictures from the night!

Awards Day

Wow. Where does the time go? My baby girl will be a fourth grader in the Fall!!!! She received an award for having all A's throughout the year. The highest average was a 99 and she had a 98 so I will take that! We are so proud of her and how hard she works to get the good grades. She is very deserving of a summer break!!

As for time flying...I cannot believe that I graduate from Troy next Friday night. It seems like just yesterday that I started this new journey in my life hard to beleive I am done (with the school part). Now I have to start the job search...so keep those prayers coming!!!! Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Maegan's First Game Pitching

Maegan received the game ball tonight. She pitched her first game and struck out seven batters!!!! We are so proud of her. Here is a picture of her with her game ball!

Day of Bama Softball!!!!

What fun we had watching Bama softball yesterday It was a gorgeous day and Bama won sweep the series beating Auburn on Friday night 5 to 1, then on Saturday in the double header with scores of 9 to 1 and 10 to 2!!! We were lucky enough for Maegan to get autographs and to get her picture made with several of the players, she was so excited!!!! We also saw Cat Osterman and Kelly Kretschman. Kelly played for Bama in 2001 and then on to play on the USA olympic softball team. Cat played for Texas and she was the pitcher for the USA olympic softball team. Maegan got their autograph as well.
