I PASSED!!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone who said a prayer for me last Tuesday as I took my comprehensive exam. I received my results today and PRAISE THE LORD, I PASSED!! If everything goes as planned, I will be doing my internship this Spring and hopefully have my own classroom by this time next year! So hard to believe that I am really this close to being done. Thanks to everyone who has supported me through this journey, especially Stephen, Maegan and the rest of my family!!

All Stars-Game 2 & Father's Day

THEY WON Saturday night, so they get to keep playing. We play tonight at 7:00. Maegan had an excellent game, she went 3 for 3 that included a triple!!! Her defense was awesome--she caught a line drive and put at least 4 people out at first. The girls were so excited to experience that win. Wish them luck tonight as they have to win to stay in the tournament! I am having trouble with my home laptop, so I am having to post at work and I didn't bring the camera with me--I hope to upload some pictures soon. Stephen had a great Father's Day-we were all lazy until late afternoon and then he and Maegan went to the neighbors house to swim while I stayed at home to do school work. The enjoyed their quality time as I try to look at the big picture and see that it will all be worth it in the long run when I finish school!!!! Hope everyone had a great Father's Day and I want to wish my dad and Stephen's dad a very Happy Father's Day--we love you!

All Stars-First Game

Well, Maegan played her first All-Star game last night. The girls gave a great effort, but came up short. They lost to Beulah, so they will play Smith Station tonight at 7. If they win, they will continue to play on Monday; however, if they lose, they are out of the tournament. The girls really had a great time and were great sports about the entire game. We are all so proud of them. Wish us luck tonight!! I will post pictures later!

Majorette Clinic

The first week in June, Maegan attended Majorette Clinic with her friends Allie and Kelsey Davis. They learned how to twirl a baton and shake their bottoms. I have a movie of their dance and if I can figure out how to download it on here, I will--for now, hope you enjoy the pictures. Oh, I almost forgot, Maegan won the "Spirit" award and Allie and Kelsey won the "Best Effort" award, so proud of all the girls!!! Party and Trophy Time for Rec Softball

It is hard to believe but Maegan's season is over, we celebrated with a party and gave out trophies. The good thing is.....she made the All-Star team, so she gets to keep on playing!!! Here are some pictures from her team party.

Youth Group Fun

Sunday evening the youth group had an outing planned to go bowling; however, the bowling alley was closed---so they had to change plans and go to Burger King to play on the playground. It is amazing how flexible kids are--they had a blast just playing the playground--I don't think they care where they are as long as they are together. They played, did their lesson, had a group prayer, ate supper then played some more. They all had a really good time!!!
